The Batman’s theatrical rerelease on August 28, 2024, is like Christmas coming early this year. With Robert Pattinson donning the cape and cowl once again, it feels as if we’re getting a second chance to witness his dark and gritty portrayal of Bruce Wayne.
The release date for the theatrical re-run of “The Batman,” directed by Matt Reeves and featuring Robert Pattinson as the main character, has been announced. This coincides with the premiere of its upcoming spin-off show titled “The Penguin.”
Alongside the re-release of The Batman in cinemas, audiences can look forward to a special, never-before-seen glimpse into the filming process of The Penguin. This exclusive sneak peek is set to premiere on HBO on September 19 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Additionally, it will be accessible for streaming on Max.
When is The Batman theatrical rerelease date?
On a special occasion, Batman will return to the big screen at AMC Theatres on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. As of now, the international re-release date remains undisclosed, but it’s expected to be around that time.

The main cast, in addition to Robert Pattinson, includes Andy Serkis portraying Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot/Penguin, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano playing Edward Nashton/Riddler, Jeffrey Wright depicting James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, and Peter McDonald as William Kenzie. Other notable actors are also part of the ensemble.
Farrell will reprise his role for The Penguin, which will consist of eight episodes.
