In the sequel to “The Bad Guys,” Natasha Lyonne lends her voice to a character named Doom who is part of a new gang known as the Bad Girls. When Chris Killian from ComicBook asked if she had realized she was playing someone named Doom before joining the cast of “Fantastic Four: First Steps,” Lyonne replied, “It hadn’t crossed my mind until now.” She continued, “Life seems to be a sequence of coincidences hitting me, and I just do my best.

In The Bad Guys 2 movie, which premieres in theaters on August 1, 2025, Doom – a cunning raven – teams up with Kitty Kat (voiced by Danielle Brooks) and Pigtail (voiced by Maria Bakalova), who are the latest villains. The Bad Girls persuade the reformed Bad Guys to embark on an international heist adventure.

In the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, actress Natasha Lyonne portrays Rachel Rozman. This new character is a teacher who forms a friendship with Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing. There’s been some buzz that she might be Alicia Masters, but that’s not the case. In an exclusive conversation with Vanity Fair, Lyonne shared her excitement about being part of this project, describing it as “a unique and intriguing experience, approaching it from various angles.

She mentioned, “I was also part of the Smurfs film, and there are certain events that took place… I’d rather not discuss them as I might face consequences. However, if by 8:45 p.m. tonight, I’ve passed away and they have to combine the movies, it should flow seamlessly, I believe.

Speculation arises from Lyonne’s remarks, suggesting that she might lend her voice to a computer-generated character like H.E.R.B.I.E., although Marvel has yet to disclose the precise nature of her part in the project.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters on July 25, 2025.
