As a die-hard Bachelor Nation fan who has been following Jenn Tran’s journey since the very beginning of this season, I must admit that I’m both elated and heartbroken at the same time. It’s thrilling to see Jenn finally find love on The Bachelorette, but it’s disheartening to learn that she and Devin Strader have ended their engagement.
Jenn Tran’s stint as The Bachelorette has now concluded! It feels like just yesterday when Jenn embarked on her quest to find love as the most recent lead of The Bachelorette, and she’s certainly had an eventful ride this season!
It’s been a rollercoaster ride, filled with twists and turns, but it seems that all the effort has paid off as Jenn finds herself choosing between two exceptional gentlemen: Devin Strader and Marcus Shoberg. Both of these men have consistently stood out since the beginning of the season, and their connections have grown stronger and more intimate each week, culminating in a thrilling finale.
As the final stage approached, Marcus began to display some hesitation when he confessed to Jenn that he was unsure if he was prepared for an engagement and to express “I love you.” In contrast, Devin appears completely committed to his relationship with Jenn, having already told her “I love you” during their hometown visits. His primary worry revolves around whether Jenn shares the same feelings towards him and their relationship.
Warning: This is where things are about to get spoilery!
Who does Jenn choose: Devin or Marcus?
Without much surprise considering the build-up towards the finale, it turns out that Devin is the one Jenn chooses for her final rose at the end of the season. In fact, it was widely predicted that Devin would win the season from the start, as Reality Steve had reported that Jenn would end up with Devin by the end of the season.
Beyond simply presenting Devin with her final rose, Jenn’s season concluded with an engagement as Devin knelt down to propose to Jenn. It was a flawless ending to the season and wasn’t all that unexpected considering the strong bond we’ve witnessed between them throughout the season.
Although Marcus’ path could have seemed plausible, his indecisiveness during the hometowns undeniably raised concerns and appeared to validate the speculations circulating prior to the season about Devin taking the crown. This also explains why Marcus wasn’t chosen for the role of the next Bachelor; it appears that ABC opted against a candidate who might not be fully prepared for an engagement as their front-runner.
It’s important to note that just because Jenn and Devin got engaged on the show’s finale, it doesn’t necessarily mean they are still together. In fact, filming for the season ended months ago, so it’s unclear if they’ve maintained their relationship or not. Are they a perfect couple as portrayed on the show, or have they parted ways since then?
Jenn Tran is not still with Devin Strader
It’s worth noting that, despite Jenn Trenn and Devin Strader getting engaged on the season finale of “The Bachelorette,” they are no longer together and have called off their engagement.
Prior to the live final episode, Reality Steve shared on Instagram that Devin and Jenn had split up and wouldn’t be appearing in the finale together.
In tonight’s final episode, it will be shown that Jenn is getting engaged to Devin. This detail doesn’t change. But what has been speculated for a few weeks is indeed accurate. It turns out that Devin has called off their engagement and split up with Jenn, as he recently revealed.
It’s intriguing to note that Reality Steve couldn’t verify why Devin ended his engagement with Jenn or for how long they remained in a relationship following the end of filming. What we do know, however, is that Devin cancelled the engagement and they are no longer together, which is certainly disheartening news.
During the After the Final Rose segment of the finale, we’ll uncover the specific details about what transpired between the pair. So, brace yourself for some unexpected revelations that might shake things up!
