The Apprentice Clip Shows Sebastian Stan as a Young Donald Trump

The Apprentice is a biopic about Donald Trump, who emerged from his powerful father’s shadow and made a name for himself in Manhattan real estate, aspiring mogul, while Cohn advises him on what to say. This controversial film struggled to gain distribution from a major studio. Briarcliff Entertainment eventually acquired the U.S. distribution rights. Trump’s team has sent a cease & desist to the filmmakers and has threatened more legal action. The Apprentice premiered at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.


Briarcliff Entertainment has unveiled a fresh snippet from the forthcoming biographical film titled “The Apprentice“, which focuses on a youthful Donald Trump’s life.

In this video, Sebastian Stan plays the role of Donald Trump, with Jeremy Strong portraying Roy Cohn. They are seen in the back seat of a car, where Trump takes part in a phone conversation and listens to advice from Cohn about his words.

Who is Involved in The Apprentice?

1. Donald J. Trump

Alongside Stan and Strong, The Apprentice also stars Maria Bakalova portraying Ivana Trump – Donald’s wife from 1977 to 1990. Martin Donovan, Ben Sullivan, Charlie Carrick, Mark Rendall, and Joe Pingue make up the rest of the talented cast.

Ali Abbasi is the one responsible for the direction of “The Apprentice,” which was written by Gabriel Sherman. The production team includes Daniel Bekerman, Jacob Jarek, Julianne Forde, Ruth Treacy, and Louis Tisné.

At the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, The Apprentice made its debut, but faced difficulties finding distribution from a big-name studio due to controversy. Eventually, Briarcliff Entertainment secured the U.S. distribution rights for the film. Trump’s team has already sent a cease and desist letter to the filmmakers, hinting at further legal action.

The Apprentice opens in theaters on October 11, 2024.
