NBC unveiled the initial trailer for a new series titled “Exploring the Americas“, offering a sneak peek at the forthcoming 10-episode nature documentary, with renowned actor Tom Hanks serving as the narrator.

What happens in The Americas trailer?

The freshly-released sneak peek introduces a forthcoming documentary series, hailing from BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit – the same team behind Planet Earth and Blue Planet. This series promises to reveal the marvels, mysteries, and hidden gems scattered throughout the vast supercontinent.

On February 23, 2025, at 7:00 PM Eastern Time, the new series “The Americas” is scheduled to make its debut on NBC. After this special two-hour premiere, the show will move to a weekly slot starting March 2, 2025, at 8:00 PM ET. Additionally, episodes of the series can be streamed on Peacock following their television broadcast.
