Showtime has revealed an exciting new trailer for their upcoming spy thriller, “The Agency,” featuring Academy Award nominee Michael Fassbender. This gripping series will officially launch on Friday, November 29, starting with the premiere of the first two episodes.
The storyline centers around Martian, a secret CIA operative, who is instructed to give up his undercover existence and return to London Headquarters. When the person he once loved resurfaces, their romance rekindles. However, his job, true identity, and mission collide with his feelings; thrusting them both into a dangerous world of international mystery and espionage.

In this video, Michael Fassbender’s character from Mars is shown resuming his private life following a prolonged period of undercover work. The narrative emphasizes the repercussions of his choices, as both his family ties and professional career are under threat due to his recent mission.
The Agency is modeled after the critically praised French show “Le Bureau des Legendes.” Alongside Fassbender, you’ll find regular cast members Jeffrey Wright, Jodie Turner-Smith, Katherine Waterston, John Magaro, Alex Reznik, Andrew Brooke, Harriet Sansom Harris, India Fowler, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Reza Brojerdi, and Richard Gere. The ensemble also includes Adam Nagaitis, Ambreen Razia, Bilal Hasna, David Harewood, Kurt Egyiawan, Ray BLK, Sabrina Wu, and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor.
The show was created and overseen by Jez and John-Henry Butterworth, with Joe Wright handling directing duties for the initial two episodes.
