Marcus

We understand this is due to his fear of getting hurt, and Marcus has often found it challenging to express his feelings freely. Marcus shared with Jenn that he, along with his sister, were left by their biological parents. Consequently, they spent their formative years within the foster care system without being adopted. The painful experiences of childhood have left Marcus guarded and reluctant to pursue romantic relationships due to the need to prioritize himself and his sister, who holds a significant place in his life.
On that special day they shared and discussed Marcus’ past, their bond was solidified – he was given a rose, indicating Jenn would soon meet his beloved sister.
Jeremy
In the crucial stage before hometown visits, Jeremy’s one-on-one date arrived perfectly. Seizing this precious opportunity, he spent an enjoyable day with Jenn, visiting the market, sharing laughter, throwing fish, and having their palms read by a fortune teller. To top it off, Jeremy created a beautiful bouquet for Jenn, a thoughtful gesture that touched her heart.
However, our main character was curious about exploring their bond more deeply. They enjoyed each other’s company and shared laughter, but she sought to discover if there was a deeper connection between them. Their dinner date served as an opportunity for this exploration. The couple engaged in a heartfelt discussion that included topics such as family backgrounds and future aspirations. Remarkably, they also touched upon the subject of children and religious beliefs during their conversation.
Because they are both open to different beliefs, they believe it would be beneficial for any children they might have to learn about their individual faiths, Buddhism and Judaism. This is something that’s important to them, and sharing this common viewpoint convinced Jenn that Jeremy deserved a rose.
Devin
If you’ve been following the series, you’d realize this development was predictable, as Devin and Jenn have been growing closer ever since they first met. In this episode, Devin made it clear to our female lead that he would only introduce a woman to his mother if he felt proud of her and if she were worthy of dating his son. Given how Jenn fits both descriptions, it’s no surprise that Devin is developing feelings for her. Jenn was noticeably affected by his declaration, and it was evident that she would receive a rose during the ceremony.
Jonathan
Whenever Jenn and Jonathan are in each other’s company, they always have a fantastic time. They manage to make one another comfortable while still keeping things light-hearted, which appears to bring them joy. Their hometown visits will provide them with an opportunity to explore the extent of their feelings towards each other. As Jenn gets acquainted with Jonathan’s family and he discusses some serious matters regarding their future, it seems that Jonathan is questioning whether the Jenn he sees on the show will be the same Jenn he marries if she selects him. It’s a valid concern, as it’s likely that Jenn has similar doubts about all her potential partners.
