When is That Christmas release date?
Christmas will officially arrive on December 4, 2024, in an exclusive showing on Netflix. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Brian Cox portraying Santa Claus, Fiona Shaw as Ms. Trapper, Jodie Whittaker as Mrs. Williams, Bill Nighy as Bill, Rhys Darby as Mr. McNutt, Lolly Adefope as Mrs. McNutt, Alex Macqueen as Mr. Forrest, Katherine Parkinson as Mrs. Forrest, and Sindhu Vee as Mrs. Mulji.
The movie is helmed by Otto, who has taken up direction from a script penned jointly by Richard Curtis and Peter Souter. It’s inspired by Curtis’ enchanting series of children’s books he wrote. Notably, this is Otto’s first time directing a full-length feature film. The cast includes India Brown, Zazie Hayhurst, Sienna Sayer, Jack Wisniewski, Rosie Cavaliero, Paul Kaye, Guz Khan, Andy Nyman, Kuhu Agarwal, Bronte Smith, Freddie Spry, and Ava Talbot. The production is handled by Otto, Nicole P. Hearon (known for Moana and Frozen), and Adam Tandy. Locksmith Animation serves as the studio.
