As a seasoned gamer who has seen his fair share of TV series, I must admit that the latest trailer for That ’90s Show part 3 has me all fired up! The anticipation is real, especially with the arrival of Kelso’s daughter Betsy, played by Kira Kosarin. It feels like a blast from the past, and I can’t help but reminisce about the good ol’ days of The Thundermans.
Following an earlier shift in release date for “That ’90s Show” part 3, from October to August, Netflix has revealed the complete official trailer for the upcoming eight episodes. When Leia deals with the fallout of her unexpected houseguests and Red and Kitty come back from their trip, it’s clear that August 22 won’t be a peaceful day. However, part 3 holds more than just trouble in store!
In the third part preview, a character fans of “That ’70s Show” have been eagerly waiting for since the Netflix spin-off debut has at last emerged in Point Place: Kelso’s daughter Betsy, who was introduced in season 7 of the original series with Brooke Rockwell. She’s now returned to town and seems determined to create some mischief for her younger brother.
Actress Kira Kosarin, known for her role in “The Thundermans,” gives life to Kelso’s eldest child named Betsy in “That ’90s Show.” Given that Betsy was born in 1979, she would be around 17 or 18 years old by 1996. Since Kosarin is 26 years old, it will be intriguing to see how the show develops her character, particularly since Betsy appears to be drawing attention from Jay’s close friend Nate. Watch out!

In the third part trailer, it’s shown that Red and Kitty are startled when a car slams into their house, specifically their kitchen. Remarkably, it isn’t Red who speaks first, but a silent Red could be equally terrifying. Instead, it’s Kitty who exclaims, “Someone’s going to perish!” This means there will be two potentially dangerous Formans for Leia and her companions to handle.
The trailer hints at a fresh plotline for part 3 that extends beyond the romantic complications and friendship dilemmas. As Leia becomes more attached to her friends in Point Place and her boyfriend, she seems less keen on going back to Chicago. She’s considering persuading her mom to relocate back to Point Place, but will Donna agree to a full-time move? And what about Eric’s feelings in this matter?

Originally planned for release on October 24, the second half of season 2 (which some might call part 3) has been moved up two months. The cast and the streamer made this announcement on July 30. Instead of waiting until fall to see the new generation of Point Place teens, we can now end our summer with a laugh, as intended by the change.
Apart from the eight upcoming episodes of That ’90s Show due this month, Netflix has yet to confirm a new season or additional installments for the sitcom. Previously, the showrunner hinted that he had ideas for subsequent episodes set during school terms and addressing holidays. Here’s crossing fingers for future seasons! Don’t forget to watch the fresh episodes and uncover the next thrilling cliffhanger.
Watch That ’90s Show part 3 only on Netflix on Thursday, Aug. 22.
