The actress said that if not for cinema, she would have started a tea shop and sold teas instead.

Parvathy Thiruvothu shared that when she faced doubts about acting, she would reflect, “If I don’t succeed as an actress, perhaps I could run a tea shop instead.” This thought served as a reminder for her that all professions carry worth and that it’s essential to stay open to various opportunities.

In her latest professional project, Parvathy worked together with debutant director Christo Tomy on their Malayalam film named “Ullozhukku.” Notable actress Urvashi is also part of this drama production.

In the film, a woman and her daughter-in-law grieve over the loss of their dear one. However, heavy floods prevent them from conducting the traditional final rites. The movie explores various family mysteries that remain concealed and how their relationships shift as these hidden truths surface.

In addition to Revathy Arasu and Revathy Ashok, the film features Arjun Radhakrishnan, Alencier Ley Lopez, Prashanth Murali, among others, in pivotal parts. The production is currently accessible for streaming on Simply South, excluding India.

About Thangalaan

In the coming film “Thangalaan,” directed by Pa Ranjith, Chiyaan Vikram and Malavika Mohanan star as the main characters. The plot revolves around Thangalaan, a tribal chief, who is forced by the British Raj to help their general in extracting gold from his community.

A formidable woman believed to possess magical powers, named Aarathi, fiercely obstructs the path of the wicked. In addition to the primary cast members, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Hari Krishnan Anbudurai, Vettai Muthukumar, and Krish Hassan among others, play significant roles in the movie.

After several pushbacks and setbacks, the release of Thangalaan is planned for August 15, 2024.
