In a social media update, the director expressed, “Everyone knows I’ve been striving to meet him one day with genuine effort and talent! The ‘working with him’ part is still uncertain, but I did meet him!

In simpler terms, the director explained that he’s long admired the superstar and was taken aback when he found himself face-to-face with Vijay. Ashwath shared that he became tearful upon the sight of him, leaving the whole team puzzled about his emotional response.
