Actor Thalapathy Vijay, popularly known from the South Indian movie industry, is widely followed by many. Recently, an unexpected disclosure was made when he entered politics, founding Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam, and declared that he plans to retire from acting following his 69th film.

However, in the latest news, Thalapathy Vijay has clarified his position on this matter and put an end to such speculations.
As stated in a report from The Times of India (TOI), the actor spoke about the rumors during the Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) meeting on February 26th. He confirmed that his upcoming 69th film, Jana Nayagan, directed by H. Vinoth, would be his last acting role. He emphasized that he plans to devote all of his efforts to politics and is dedicated to the well-being of the people in Tamil Nadu.
It’s clear that supporters of the actor are feeling a complex mix of feelings now. On one hand, the thought of not witnessing their beloved star’s captivating presence on the big screen any longer brings sadness. On the other, they are eagerly anticipating how “Leo” will navigate this fresh phase in his life. Discussing Thalapathy Vijay’s latest movie, titled “Jana Nayagan,” this project is directed by H. Vinoth, signifying their first joint venture. The film boasts a star-studded cast that includes Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, Bobby Deol, Gautham Vasudev Menon, and several others in significant roles. “Jana Nayagan” is generally perceived as a political action thriller.
Earlier this year, the creators of the movie revealed the initial promotional poster, and true to form, it quickly spread like wildfire across various social media platforms. As per the latest news, we can anticipate seeing this movie in theaters towards the end of this year.
Jana Nayagan is being financed by Venkat K. Narayana, Jagadish Palanisamy, and Lohith NK under the production company KVN Productions. Anirudh Ravichander has been brought on board to create the music for the movie. Sathyan Sooryan will manage the film’s cinematography, while Pradeep E. Ragav will be responsible for editing the film.
