Thalapathy Vijay beats Salman Khan and Prabhas to become the highest-paid actor; check out his fees for GOAT

As a die-hard fan with over two decades of Thalapathy Vijay mania under my belt, let me tell you, this news has sent shivers down my spine! The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) is not just a movie; it’s an epic saga that promises to redefine Tamil cinema. With Vijay charging a whopping Rs. 200 crores for GOAT, he’s officially become the highest-paid actor in Indian cinema!

Thalapathy Vijay’s movie, dubbed “The Greatest Of All Time,” has been creating quite a stir since its initial announcement. Given the popularity of the actor and the rumors that this may be one of his last films, fans have been very excited about it. For those who don’t know, in this movie, Vijay will play both father and son roles. Lately, Archana Kalpathi, the film’s producer, disclosed the actor’s pay for the project.

During an interview with Galatta, film producer Archana Kalpathi revealed Thalapathy Vijay’s paycheck for their upcoming project, GOAT. Reportedly, he’s earning a massive sum of 200 crore rupees for this film.

As a devoted follower, I’m thrilled to share that my beloved Thalapathy Vijay has reached new heights in Indian cinema, earning him a spot among the highest-paid actors. He outshines the exceptional Prabhas, who had previously charged a record-breaking sum of Rs. 150 crores, and the esteemed Salman Khan, whose top rate is Rs. 125 crores, just shows the magnitude of Vijay’s popularity and talent in our film industry.

Prominent actors in Bollywood, like Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, usually choose a profit-sharing model rather than charging an initial fee.

Additionally, Archana disclosed that the overwhelming admiration and appreciation for The Greatest Of All Time has essentially guaranteed the project’s success for its creators, as they have already begun to reap profits since its initial launch.

Previously, in a chat with the press, the director of GOAT, Venkat Prabhu, offered some intriguing insights into the project that viewers have been eagerly waiting for. He hinted at a few things and revealed that each subsequent scene in the film will be filled with unexpected twists.

He stated, “It’s impossible for you to guess what happens next or figure out the movie’s direction. It’ll be as unpredictable as Mankatha on steroids.”

Furthermore, Venkat Prabhu disclosed that a significant clue about the movie’s genre was dropped in the trailer, yet no one managed to decipher it accurately. He also hinted that GOAT will have a rapid pace, but its narrative would revolve around the emotional journey of a family man.

As a devoted follower, I proudly announce that on August 30, 2024, our GOAT team wrapped up the final stages of post-production and perfected the sound mixing for our movie. Excitedly taking to our social media platform (now X), I shared a photo with my incredible crew, beaming with joy after completing the last phase of work together.

For the unversed, GOAT will hit the theaters on September 5, 2024.
