Official trailer and plot of Thalaivaa
In essence, the plot of Thalaivaa is divided between the events of two distinct years: 1988 and 2013. This film weaves together the lives of a father and son, with the unexpected passing of the father forcing the son to assume his role as the leader of a powerful criminal organization in the underworld.
The demise of Varadarajan Mudaliar, once a powerful ruler in Dharavi, now leaves his son Vishwa as the sole heir to this vast empire. It was Anna who helped raise Vishwa in secret in Australia, where he led a dance troupe and even found love.
In the stark reality, I find myself thrust into the role of steering a once-mighty but now crumbling empire that was my father’s legacy. This world I now inhabit is one where mercy seems to be an unfamiliar concept.

In the movie “Thalaivaa,” Thalapathy Vijay and Amala Paul play the main characters. Additionally, action-thriller heavyweights such as Sathyaraj, Santhanam, Abhimanyu Singh, Ragini Nandwani, Nassar, and others take on significant roles within the film.
The film was crafted both in terms of script and direction by A.L. Vijay, and it’s a project spearheaded by S. Chandraprakash Jain. Financially backed by Sri Mishri Productions, this production also features music composed by GV Prakash.
