As a seasoned gamer who has binge-watched countless hours of Thai dramas, I must say that episode 7 of The Secret of Us was a rollercoaster ride of emotions! Lingling Kwong and Orm Kornnaphat Sethratanapong have truly captured my heart with their portrayal of Lada and Earn.

On Monday, August 5, 2024, at 10:30 p.m., Lingling Sirilak Kwong and Orm Kornnaphat Sethratanapong’s ongoing Thai GL series “The Secret of Us” aired its seventh episode on Channel 3. This captivating drama chronicles the ups and downs of the romantic journey between Fahlada (played by Ling) and Earn (portrayed by Orm).

In Episode 7 of The Secret of Us, Lada inquires about Nu’s understanding regarding his agreement with her mother concerning their marriage. Nu admits he was unaware that Russamee would publicize their engagement. When Lada queries why he complied, Nu confesses his desire to marry her. However, Lada clarifies she never held romantic feelings for him. Lada reveals she is already in love with someone else after Nu expresses willingness to wait for her. Subsequently, Lada challenges Russamee, asserting that she’s more than just an “item.” She further explains that her mother doesn’t have the authority to dictate her life choices. Russamee counters by claiming the prerogative to decide what’s best for her child. Yet, Lada refuses to comply, expressing her unwillingness to marry Nu. Desperately, Lada pleads with her mother not to compel her, following Russamee’s inquiry about marrying the one she loves. However, Lada’s mother remains firm, asserting that her daughter has no say in the decision.

Lada is taken care of by Earn, who helps her unwind. He submerges Lada’s feet in water for relaxation and even provides her with a back massage. At one point, Lada expresses concerns about troubling her with her issues, but Earn assures her that he will never tire of them. As the night progresses, they share private moments and end up spending the night together.

Beyond this, Tan observes Nu arriving at the hospital carrying flowers for Lada. Later, she informs him that she’s engaged in a case and suggests they reschedule their meeting. However, Nu decides to wait for Lada, and eventually, he expresses his regret. Lada then requests Nu to cease his attempts to propose, but he admits his feelings for her. In response, Lada questions whether she could ever love someone like him. Later on, Tan steps in and offers an apology on behalf of Nu. When asked about his intentions towards Lada, Nu mentions that it’s their families who want the marriage, as it would be advantageous for both their businesses. Eventually, Tan asks if Nu harbors genuine affection for her, to which he replies that he’s beginning to have doubts about it himself.

Moreover, Russamee commands her daughter to join a hospital training in Pattaya with Nu, but Lada sends Tan instead. Later, Russamee discovers Lada wasn’t at the training and learns she was needed for an emergency case. Meanwhile, Lada secretly sends Tan to represent her when her mother confronts her at the hospital.

Reflecting on Tan’s advice, I find myself delving into the depths of my heart’s emotions. I seek his guidance in unraveling my feelings, and our moment almost transcends into a tender kiss. Alas, I faint before that could happen. On another note, Tan and I’s confidante Lada contemplate embarking on a journey together with Earn.

How does The Secret of Us episode 7 end?

In a recent conversation, Lada learns that her father, Phuthares, believes if not for Russamee’s actions, she (Lada) would have been with Earn earlier. He claims that Russamee manipulated the situation to make Earn and Lada break up by accusing Earn of betrayal. Furthermore, he suggests that Russamee misled her daughter for self-serving purposes. A flashback then reveals that in the past, Russamee had convinced Lada that Earn was using them for her mother’s treatment, which caused their separation.

Moving forward, Lada makes the decision to depart from her parents’ home and live with Earn instead. She informs her mother that she had inadvertently kept them apart, aware of the heartache it inflicted. Russamee attempts to dissuade Lada, believing she’s making a mistake. However, Lada asserts that she followed her mother’s wishes, but now she chooses love over Earn. Subsequently, Lada goes to Earn and reveals all she knows. In response, Earn apologizes. Eventually, Lada submits her resignation from the hospital.
