As a seasoned crypto investor with a knack for spotting promising trends, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement upon witnessing Tether’s strategic moves. The integration of TON-based USDT on Bitkub, Thailand’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, is more than just a step; it’s a giant leap toward global dominance for Tether.
Tether [NC], the world’s leading dollar-backed stablecoin, has made a significant stride towards its global growth plans. They recently announced that USDT on the TON network is now available on Bitkub, Thailand’s largest cryptocurrency exchange. This partnership could strengthen Tether’s position as it works to increase its influence in the global crypto market.
Tether Taps Bitkub as Partnership with TON Foundation Gains Momentum
It’s important to mention that Tether’s recent announcement is connected to a long-term agreement they have with the TON Foundation. The goal of this collaboration, as initially explained, is essentially to make it easier for users to use USDT on the TON blockchain.
According to Coinspeaker’s report on June 6, there was a collaboration aimed at adding TON-based USDT to around 100 global exchanges and payment systems. At first, this goal might have appeared overly ambitious. However, considering recent advancements, it seems that the project is achieving more success than initially anticipated.
To date, our strategy has been successful in providing TON-backed USDT to users in Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. With the recent integration with Bitkub, it’s clear that Tether is running at full capacity as it strives to reach its target.
Accelerated Integrations Signal Strategic Push
It’s noteworthy to point out that the rate of integrations has noticeably increased lately. To be specific, there were just three integrations announced in October, but November brought about 11 new collaborations. Some of these partnerships included Quidax Global, Stables Money, TrustKeys Global, YellowCard App, and several others.
To kick things off magnificently, December has seen three integrations confirmed within the first week itself. Following the December 6th debut on Bitkub, there have been prior announcements about integrations with Bit2Me and Nomas Wallet this month.
Simultaneously, these collaborations fulfill two key roles. Initially, they grant users effortless usage of USDT on the TON blockchain. Moreover, they aim to facilitate USDT transactions for merchandise and services within the TON network.
In essence, the goal is to enhance and streamline USDT transactions worldwide. With approximately 100 integrations on the horizon, Tether might have discovered an ideal strategy for increasing the use of its USDT stablecoin. Moreover, it seems that the firm could also be paving the way for expanding the versatility of USDT across numerous applications.
