Terry Bogard will be playable in Street Fighter 6's Gamescom 2024 demo

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia seeing Terry Bogard make his way into Street Fighter 6. It’s like a dream come true, really – a testament to Capcom’s commitment to delivering the best possible gaming experience.

In the upcoming Gamescom 2024, fans will have the opportunity to experience Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury and King of Fighters in Street Fighter 6 for the first time. This surprise collaboration between Capcom and SNK was announced in July, hinting at Season 2’s imminent arrival, which will also include Mai Shiranui. At Gamescom this month, Capcom will showcase a playable demo of Street Fighter 6 featuring Terry, allowing players to witness the legendary Buster Wolf in action.

At Gamescom 2024, scheduled from August 21 to August 25, Capcom is planning to showcase a Street Fighter 6 demo featuring Terry. This event in Germany will also feature live demonstrations of Monster Hunter Wilds, Ace Attorney: Investigations Collection, Kunitsu Gami: Path of the Goddess, and Monster Hunter Now. According to Plaion’s report, Capcom has a lot more to reveal during this video game convention.

In July 2024, Terry Bogard was unveiled as part of Street Fighter 6’s Year 2 DLC expansion. But what truly amped up the excitement was during EVO 2024 when we got a sneak peek at Terry in action within the game, and guess where? Inside Richard Meyer’s restaurant, used as a stage! It’s been thrilling to watch Capcom prepare Terry for his grand entrance into the game, which is set for this Fall.

It seems that attendees of Gamescom 2024 will have an opportunity to try out Terry (character) before others, given the lucky draw. For now, we wait for further information regarding when Terry Bogard becomes available as DLC. Keep an eye on the Street Fighter 6 discussion for additional updates and news.
