What is Terrifier 3 about?

As I settle down for a peaceful slumber on Christmas Eve, little do the residents of Miles County know that Art the Clown has plans to stir up mayhem in their quiet town. (Synopsis)

Additionally featured in the film are actors such as Lauren Lavera, Elliott Fullam, Samantha Scaffidi, Antonella Rose, Margaret Anne Florence, Bryce Johnson, Alexa Blair, Mason Mecartea, Krsy Fox, Clint Howard, Jon Abrahams, Chris Jericho, Daniel Roebuck, and Jason Patric.

Leone has been narrating tales about the character Art the Clown since 2008. This character made his debut in a short film called “The 9th Circle” and later appeared in another short film titled “Terrifier,” which was released in 2011. Mike Giannelli portrayed Art the Clown in both of these films before retiring from the role. Both “The 9th Circle” and “Terrifier” were part of the 2013 anthology movie “All Hallows’ Eve.”

In 2016, Art made his debut in the feature film “Terrifier”. This was later followed by “Terrifier 2” in 2022, which became a massive box office success. The movie earned around $15.7 million at the box office, while its production budget was approximately $250,000.

Earlier, Leone hinted on X that Terrifier 3 would contain one of the most disturbing sequences in the entire series. He posted, “I can honestly say we just filmed one of the most unbelievably gruesome scenes from the Terrifier franchise, and it turns out even someone on set found it too intense. The behind-the-scenes is quite amusing. I can’t wait for you all to witness it!”

Terrifier 3 will be released in United States theaters on October 11, 2024, from Cineverse.
