As a huge horror fan and a long-time follower of Damien Leone’s Terrifier series, I couldn’t contain my excitement when I saw the first teaser trailer for Terrifier 3! The chilling return of Art the Clown, with his twisted grin and menacing demeanor, is enough to send shivers down any horror fan’s spine.

The initial teaser trailer and poster for “Terrifier 3” by Cineverse have been revealed, signaling the approaching release of director Damien Leone’s gruesome slasher sequel.

In the quaint town of Miles County, Art the Clown makes his chilling reappearance, spreading terror and carnage during the festive season. His sinister presence haunts the streets and homes, leaving a bloody trail of violence behind.

Terrifier 3 teaser trailer and poster reveal a festive fright fest


In the third installment of the Terrifier series, filmmaking is led by Damien Leone (Terrifier franchise) through both direction and scriptwriting. The ensemble includes David Howard Thornton reprising his role as the malevolent character, Art the Clown. Joining him are returning cast members Lauren LaVera (Terrifier 2), Samantha Scaffidi (Demon Hole, Terrifier), and Elliott Fullam (Terrifier 2). New additions to the roster include acting veterans Daniel Roebuck (Final Destination, The Fugitive), Antonella Rose (Fear the Walking Dead), Krsy Fox (Allegoria), Clint Howard (3 from Hell, Apollo 13), Jon Abrahams (House of Wax), and special appearances by Chris Jericho (AEW) and Jason Patric (The Lost Boys).

I’ve been eagerly anticipating Damien Leone’s latest masterpiece, Terrifier, for over a decade now. Art the Clown made his chilling debut in various anthology films and a chilling short back in 2011. But it was in 2018 when Art truly came into his own, with David Howard Thornton bringing the sadistic monster to life in this gripping feature-length horror experience.

In the initial film, Three young women were frightened by a psychopathic clown on Halloween Night. A year later in “Terrifier 2,” Art resurfaced, intent on causing mass destruction in Miles County. However, a young woman named Sienna Shaw (played by Lauren LaVera) could potentially be the key to stopping him.

The shooting for Terrifier 3 came to an end in April 2024. In the US, this horror movie is scheduled to hit theaters through Cineverse on October 11, 2024.
