As a longtime fan of the Terminator franchise, I was beyond excited when Netflix announced the upcoming anime series, Terminator Zero. The first teaser trailer has only fueled my anticipation even more!
The first teaser trailer for “Netflix Presents: Terminator Zero,” the new anime series inspired by the iconic franchise, is now available from Netflix.
What happens in the Terminator Zero trailer?
In the latest preview, Sonoya Mizuno (star of “House of the Dragon”) makes her first appearance, voicing the character of Eiko – a brave fighter sent from the future to prevent Skynet’s destructive assault on humanity. Joining her are acting greats Timothy Olyphant, Rosario Dawson, André Holland, and Ann Dowd, set to grace our screens when the show launches on August 29, 2024.

What do we know about Terminator Zero?
In the year 2022, a long-lasting battle between a shrinking human population and a seemingly infinite horde of machines has been waged. Contrastingly, in 1997, an artificial intelligence named Skynet attained self-consciousness and initiated hostilities against mankind.
A soldier, who finds herself stuck between the past and the future, is sent back in time with a mission to alter humanity’s fate. She lands in 1997 and sets out to shield a scientist named Malcolm Lee, who is developing an advanced AI system meant to combat Skynet’s upcoming assault on mankind.
