Telugu movie Darling Netizens’ review

As a devoted fan, I was eagerly anticipating Darling based on the filmmakers’ promises of an entertaining experience for all audiences. But as I scroll through Twitter (formerly X), I’ve been dismayed by the underwhelming response to the movie. One user voiced their disappointment with the film’s slow pace, giving it a mere two-star rating.

The first half of the movie began slowly with noticeable delays between events. The second half followed suit, maintaining the same pace before the climax. overall, I found the film disappointing with illogical scenes. The dubbing for the female lead did not impress me. My rating for this film would be 2 out of 5 stars, solely based on Priyadarshi’s performance.

A different user expressed disagreement with Darling’s script and commented, “Scripts poorly written undermine the abilities of skilled actors, and this certainly applies to #Priyadarshi. The movie embodies the flaws of Telugu cinema as a whole.”

#Darling – A Disappointing Blend of Boredom and Cringeworthy Moments

The first half was a snooze, and the second half left me cringing.

There were no catchy tunes to hum along to.
No depth or emotion was conveyed.
Nabha Natesh’s acting in some parts seemed forced and unnatural.
However, Priyadarshi managed to shine through with his performance.
The comedy scenes were the only saving grace, but unfortunately, they couldn’t salvage the rest of the film.

My rating: 1.5 out of 5 stars #DarlingOnJuly19th #NabhaNatesh #MovieReview

#Darling Review: Badly written scripts downplay the potential of capable actors.

Darling succumbs to “male saviour” syndrome & is the latest addition to a growing list of films that make a mockery out of a character’s condition.@vathsanatheart reviews

Personally, I found “Darling” to be an average comedy with some undercooked writing and lackluster humor. Despite my reservations, I’m still looking forward to watching Nabha Natesh in it when it becomes available on OTT. #Darling @Primeshowtweets

A user expressing disappointment shared, “The love story in ‘Darling’ became overly complex and lengthy, ruining what could have been a straightforward and effective tale. The film initially holds promise but loses direction around the midpoint of the first act. Despite Priyadarshi’s attempts to engage and Nabha Natesh’s portrayal of multiple personalities, the connection fails to materialize. Aswin Raam’s innovative ideas were not fully realized, and Vivek Sagar delivered an adequate score, but the melodies did not leave a lasting impression.”

Based on the negative reviews, it seems that Darling is encountering considerable backlash, which might influence its success at the movie theater. With its theatrical release only recently started, we’ll be keeping an eye on its initial week’s performance. Keep tuned for further information!
