Telugu actor-politician Posani Krishna Murali arrested at his home for making derogatory comments in speech

Well-known Telugu actor Posani Krishna Murali, a member of the YSR Congress Party and known for movies such as 1: Nenokkadine, Temper, and others, was taken into custody at his residence in Hyderabad by Andhra Pradesh police on Wednesday.

The arrest follows offensive remarks made by the former actor-turned-politician, Krishna Murali. He was charged at the Obulavaripalli Police Station for reportedly making disparaging comments about a specific community during a speech, causing unrest amongst various communities.

It appears that the police have filed charges under sections 196, 353(2), and 111 of the BNS Code, along with sections 3(5) of the SC/ST Act and sections 41(1) and 47(2) of the BNSS. Further details about his arrest are yet to be disclosed.

In my professional expertise as a lifestyle advisor, I must share some important updates regarding Krishna Murali’s legal situation. According to the arrest warrant served to his wife, Kusuma Latha, it appears that the allegations against the actor-politician are considered serious and non-bailable. This means he could be detained without bail pending further investigation or court proceedings. It’s also been reported that he will be handed over to the Additional Judicial Magistrate of 1st Class in Rajampet for judicial custody, which signifies that he will be held in their care until the next steps in the legal process are determined. It is essential to remember that everyone is innocent until proven guilty and we should respect due process during these times.

Multiple videos have popped up online, depicting officers asking an actor for their cooperation. In these videos, Krishna Murali informs the police that he’s been ill and receiving treatment. Despite this, the police insisted on taking him with them and gave a notice to his relatives instead.

It’s important to mention that this isn’t the first instance where Posani Krishna Murali has faced legal consequences due to his offensive comments. Back in November of the previous year, he was charged for making disparaging remarks against the incumbent Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu.

From a professional perspective, I’m renowned for delivering humorous and intriguing roles on the big screen. Beyond my acting career, I also dabble in writing and directing projects. This year, I had the pleasure of appearing in the Telugu romantic drama film “Nidurinchu Jahapana,” which was skillfully directed by Prasanna Kumar Devarapalli. The film’s lead roles were gracefully portrayed by Anand Vardhan and Navami Gayak.

The movie was financed by AR Entertainments, with Anup Rubens creating its soundtrack. Anand Reddy Nadakatla and Nani Babu Karumachi handled the film’s photography and editing, respectively. When it first came out, the film received a variety of opinions from critics.
