What happens in the Technoboys trailer?

The video spotlight showcases the turbulent comeback of the popular ’90s Mexican boyband, Technoboys, once renowned as the most successful in Mexico during their era. It portrays Alan Mendez’s desperate attempts to resurrect Technoboys’ stardom, aiming to win back his former girlfriend who remains a top pop star today.

The movie “Technoboys” is helmed by directors Méndez and Gerardo Gatica, who collaborated on the script penned by Alexandro Aldreta. Actress Karla Souza from “How to Get Away With Murder” will star in it. The project is overseen by executive producers Méndez, Gabriel Nuncio, Aldreta, and Ximena Calvo, while Pablo Zimbrón and Gatica serve as the producers.

Title character Alan, lead singer of the ’90s boyband Technoboys, was powerless to prevent his long-standing affection for Melena from marrying. Now, twenty years later, he teams up with his new manager George in an attempt to revive the Technoboys: Babyface, Fer, Leo, and Charly. Will they be able to recapture their past success and win back Melena’s heart? This lighthearted tale follows a series of comedic mishaps, opportunities for redemption, and the ongoing pursuit of love and fame as the Technoboys strive to make a comeback.
