Techland recently revealed that they have scrapped several unnamed upcoming projects due to substantial financial losses during their fiscal year. According to their report, these losses totaled approximately 130 million Polish zloty or $37 million USD. The reasons behind these losses were the cancellation of two undisclosed projects whose details were not shared publicly.
The Beast, which is set for release this summer and has received positive feedback during previews.
It’s been speculated that one of Techland’s unannounced projects, which they teased as a fantasy action-RPG back in 2022, might have been canceled. Despite their claims of progress through 2023, there has been little to no new information about this project since then.
After having released two games, it’s intriguing to observe whether Techland can achieve success with Dying Light: The Beast this coming summer. Keep an eye on the Techland news for further information and updates.
