Despite setting a new record as the highest-grossing concert tour of all time with her Era Tour, there’s still a possibility she could make another appearance in Paris for the Summer Olympics.
Swift is slated to perform at Olympiastadion München in Munich, Germany, on both July 27 and 28. However, there doesn’t seem to be any scheduled performance for her on July 26. Previously, she graced the stages in Las Vegas for the 2024 Super Bowl on February 11, following a show in Tokyo on the preceding day. Therefore, it is not unprecedented for her to perform at two distinct events in quick succession.
Noteworthy is the fact that the popular singer shares a connection with the US Olympics delegation this year, including Simone Biles and some other athletes. According to People magazine, after Biles left the Tokyo Olympics, Swift paid tribute to her in a video message, calling her a “hero.” In late June, Biles used Swift’s song “…Ready For It?” for her floor routine. Swift reacted on X (previously Twitter), writing “I’ve watched this so many times and still not ready. She’s ready for it though.”
At the Olympic Summer Games for the first time ever, the opening ceremony won’t take place in a stadium, but instead in the city center by the Seine river. Swift would still have an exceptional experience attending this unprecedented event.
