As a gamer, I teamed up with Taylor Swift on her track ‘Fortnight’ for her newest album, The Tortured Poets Department. She came over to my home studio in LA to lay down a few parts and let me tell you, it was nerve-wracking! I mean, who wouldn’t be intimidated working alongside such talent? I can hardly fathom what it must feel like being at their level—it’s got to be tough!
Additionally, during their conversation about filming the music video, Malone mentioned that Swift required an umbrella and a golf cart adorned with curtains as a precaution against drones and helicopters accidentally filming her.
The rapper shared that he’s never had a face-to-face meeting with Beyoncé, even though they collaborated on a track together. He communicated mainly through texts, and her representative handed him the song in Utah to maintain secrecy and avoid leaks.
