Taylor Swift donates to Operation Breakthrough
A week ago, Taylor Swift’s representatives contacted the head of a Kansas City organization. They shared that Taylor Swift intended to give a substantial donation amounting to $250,000.
In response, Mary Esselman, CEO of Operation Breakthrough, expressed her thanks to the generous artist. She shared that the kids were thrilled. When asked if they wanted to create a small token of gratitude, there was an abundance of eager participants. True to form, the children from the Kansas City organization made a one-minute video to express their appreciation for Swift.
According to USA Today, funds donated by a singer will kick off three initiatives. One of these is a workforce development and entrepreneurship program that aims to establish 10 labs for children to learn practical skills in various industries. Another initiative is called the before-and-after school program, which offers childcare services for families during school vacations.
In summary, the third and last program belongs to the early learning initiative. Operation Breakthrough, a charitable organization, focuses on assisting youngsters from financially disadvantaged backgrounds by providing educational programs and childcare services.
