While Taylor Swift has yet to respond to these comments, Bruce Springsteen, at a recent performance, voiced his opposition to the U.S. president’s views.

Donald Trump’s comment prompted Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen to trend

Recently, Donald Trump criticized both Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift on Truth Social. He made a comment about Swift saying she’s no longer “in style,” and he also wrote an extensive post about Bruce Springsteen.

As a supporter, I’d rephrase it this way: I’ve always found myself indifferent towards Bruce Springsteen, his music, and his political views leaning left. It was recently brought to my attention that he criticized our President while overseas. This event didn’t change my feelings towards him one bit.

At a concert later on, the 20-time Grammy award-winning musician responded to Trump’s comments. On May 17th, during his Land of Hopes and Dreams tour in Manchester, England, this rock legend spoke out about American politics, saying: “Current events are significantly changing the essence of our democracy, and they’re too significant to disregard.” (As reported by Los Angeles Times)

Bruce Springsteen didn’t mince words about his opinion on current events. At 75 years old, this Academy Award-winning artist expressed, “In America today, the wealthiest individuals find joy in neglecting the sickness and death of the world’s poorest children. This is happening now. In my nation, they derive perverse pleasure from the suffering they cause to hardworking Americans loyal to their country.

In the meantime, fans have been eagerly anticipating Taylor Swift’s reaction to Trump’s comment, but she, the Reputation icon, hasn’t said much in response to his derogatory comments. Conversely, Trump’s criticisms of two talented musicians have garnered significant attention and even sparked curiosity about whether Swift and Springsteen are friends due to their searches online.

For many years, T-Swizzle has been a dedicated fan of Bruce Springsteen. In her famous song “London Boy,” she paid tribute to the singer. On the opposite side, “the Boss” himself has lauded Swift’s talents. He disclosed in an interview that his daughter is a massive admirer of Taylor Swift.
