In the third episode of the Tarot Korean drama, we meet our main character, Dong-In, or Dex for short, who is an experienced delivery rider with years under his belt. During one of his usual workdays, he stumbles upon a tarot card representing “The High Priestess: Knowledge and Intuition,” hidden in a locker. Initially, Dex believes it’s a joke from one of his customers. Nevertheless, he brings the card home, unaware of the ominous turn of events it will set off in his life.
Later on, in the story, Dong-In puts in extra effort as a delivery worker to accumulate more funds for launching his own delivery service. Not long after, during his deliveries, he receives an order from an apartment building. Upon arrival and knocking at the door, a woman answers partially, handing him her meal. She then proposes a glass of water for him. Initially taken aback, Dong-In eventually accepts her offer.
Following the previous encounter, in episode 3 of “The Tarot K-drama,” Dong-In gets another delivery request from the same woman the next day. Instead of water this time, she proposes a sweet treat as a gesture. Finding her behavior unusual, Dong-In declines. Nevertheless, he accepts her tip that followed.
After that incident, Dong-In has been receiving daily delivery requests from the same woman at a specific hour. One occasion following a food drop-off, she invited him in for a brief conversation. But he declined her offer instantly. In response, she made suggestive comments to entice him further, making Dong-In feel uneasy. He left promptly thereafter. Sadly, he later discovered that this woman had filed a report against him with his employer, accusing him of unwanted advances – an allegation that is unfounded.
What happens to Dex?

In episode 3 of Tarot, Dex (Dong-In) becomes enraged at a woman for falsely accusing him. He goes to her house to confront her about it. Instead of retracting her complaint, she proposes a deal: if he takes out her trash, she will drop the issue. From that day onward, she consistently asks Dex to dispose of her trash every time a delivery is made.
One day, as I was going through my usual routine of checking the rash bags at our delivery center, something unusual caught my eye in one of them. To my surprise, instead of the expected rotten fruit or vegetables, there was a piece of raw meat inside. My heart racing, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I carefully inspected the flesh, my mind reeling with the possibility that this could be human flesh. Shock and disbelief washed over me as I confirmed my worst fears – it was indeed human flesh.
The following time Dong-in visits the woman’s residence, he discovers the door unlatched. Upon entering, he encounters a scene of horror: human blood, flesh, and an overpowering stench fill the room. In the corner of the space, there stands a woman whom Dong-in does not recognize due to her significantly altered physique compared to the woman he regularly delivers meals to.
As the woman approaches, Dong-In feels an icy shiver run through him. He recognizes her as the same woman, yet she’s drastically changed her appearance by self-inflicting wounds all over her body to win his approval. Desperate to escape, Dong-In attempts to flee, only to be ensnared in a hidden trap within the room.

Towards the close of Tarot episode 3, an additional deliveryman arrives at the woman’s apartment with dog food. Upon arrival, he notices the door is open unwarrantedly. With apprehension, the man proceeds inside at the woman’s behest, requesting him to go a bit deeper into her residence.
In an unexpected turn of events, Dong-In appears before the deliveryman, severely injured with deep cuts and covered in blood. He sits hunched over like a wounded animal, chained up like a heavy log. His mouth has been sewn shut to silence him. Despite the deliveryman’s shock and fear, Dong-In signals for him to keep quiet through gestures as the episode comes to an abrupt end. In this manner, episode 3 of the K-drama leaves viewers on edge with a chilling horror experience.
