In the fortress at the Southern Horns, a deep-seated animosity unfolds. Approach Keeper Gwylan, situated on a bridge linking two towers, to embark on your mission. Listen to his passionate dislike and hostility towards seagulls. Plagued by their persistent botheration, Gwylan seeks your aid in eliminating these birds. Learn About the Seaguller’s Mask From Rhydderic

Rhydderic can be located at the museum, situated in the main structure. To gain entry, talk to the Captain’s Quarters and then proceed inside. During your chat with him, he’ll share some intriguing information about how ancient keepers (Seagullers) would use custom masks to frighten seagulls. Following the conversation, Rhydderic will share the recipe for the Seaguller’s Mask with you.

Craft the Seaguller’s Mask and Give It To Keeper Gwylan

Here’s how to create the Seaguller’s Mask: First, locate the Grindstone nearby Osbryh. Once there, gather the necessary items:

1. Gather materials at the Grindstone to craft the Seaguller’s Mask.
2. The required items are readily available near Osbryh.
3. Simply follow these steps to create your own Seaguller’s Mask using the Grindstone.

  • 2x Leather – obtained from a wooden rack at the fortress. It can also be crafted at the Grindstone using animal pelts.  
  • 2x Feathers – Obtained from the human enemies with bows.

Alternatively, you can purchase both materials from Osbryh. 

After assembling all necessary items, make your way to Handicraft at Grindstone. Choose the Seaguller’s Mask and start crafting it. Then, hand over the mask to Keeper Gwylan who will compensate you with a Giant Feather item that boosts your Carrying Capacity by 5 permanently. Completing the Irrational Hatred mission, Keeper Gwylan will also share a Bird Trap recipe, initiating the next quest, Eternal War.
