By the set deadline, Sweeney will also be responsible for creating the movie under her production company, Fifty-Fifty Films. Roy Lee, Steven Schneider, Trevor Engelson, and Aaron Folbe have also joined as producers. The script, however, is penned by Eric Roth.
According to an article by Deadline, the main character of the short story pretends to be a missing girl in order to steal from her family. However, he later comes to regret his decision as he realizes that he has made a grave error.
