Sydney Sweeney Bathwater Company Calls Out ‘Fake’ Soap Listing on Walmart

Following the swift sale-out of Sydney Sweeney‘s exclusive line of bath soaps from Dr. Squatch, imitation versions started showing up on Walmart’s online platform and eBay. Now, Dr. Squatch has weighed in on the authenticity of the products being peddled on secondary marketplaces.

Dr Squatch calls out fake Sydney Sweeney soap listing on Walmart

The frenzy over Sydney Sweeney’s exclusive bathwater soap isn’t showing any signs of slowing. After running out of stock on the official Dr. Squatch site, enthusiasts have stumbled upon various resellers offering the product at surprisingly steep costs.

Dr. Squatch clarified that their Sydney Sweeney Bathwater and other limited edition products haven’t been approved for sale on stores like Walmart or similar online platforms.

According to a statement made to The Sun, this soap manufacturer can’t guarantee that products offered outside their official sales outlets are genuine, since resellers often take advantage of the viral soap’s fame by selling counterfeit items.

Customers have encountered deceitful and unusual items marketed as different types of Sweeney’s soaps. Among the fraudulent listings, fans spotted hygiene products like “Sydney’s Toilet Joy Bar Soap” and “Blessed Bar Soap.” The odd names are likely a part of the deception.

Walmart takes allegations of counterfeit items on its platforms seriously. In response to The Sun, the retail giant declared that they have a strict policy against dishonest vendors and misleading product descriptions. They anticipate their sellers and suppliers to provide accurate and truthful information about their products to their customers.

It appears that the majority of Dr. Squatch items connected to Sweeney have been removed from Walmart’s online platform. Nevertheless, eBay offers numerous listings for bath soap and toilet soap from Dr. Squatch.

Moving forward, it appears that Sweeney is no longer involved with Dr. Squatch collaborations. Instead, she’s partnering with the well-known ice cream brand, Baskin-Robbins, for a forthcoming project.

The global ice cream chain’s latest menu, dubbed “Sydney,” introduces two unique items: “Sydney’s Signature Scoop” and “Sydney’s Signature Fizz.” The star of the show, “Sweeney’s Signature Scoop,” will feature a delightful blend of rainbow sherbet nestled in a cone dipped in rich chocolate. To top it off, you’ll find rainbow sprinkles and mini gummy bears adding a sweet touch to this special dessert.

starting July 1st, the unique “Fizz” drink from Sydney will now come with a delightful mix of rainbow sherbet, lemon soda, and mini gummy bears as additional ingredients.
