Today, March 7, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (SVSC) has made a comeback on the big screens. Featuring Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh Daggubati in the main roles, this film initially hit theaters in 2013 and went on to become a huge hit. With its re-release, enthusiasts are flocking back to cinemas to enjoy the enchantment of the movie once more.
Multiple theater videos are popping up online, featuring audiences making noise and applauding during the initial appearances of main characters. In some instances, spectators are captured tossing confetti out of pure exhilaration as they watch the hit Telugu movie unfold in cinemas.
A spectator gushed over the character Relangi Mavayya, not just seeing it as a role, but as a deeply felt emotion. Social media users were equally captivated by Viswanath’s performance following the re-release of SVSC.
(The aim here is to convey the same meaning while using simpler and more conversational language that flows easily for the reader.)
Take a look at the reaction videos below:
In this narrative, we delve into the life of Relangi Mavayya, a man characterized by his deep compassion and devotion towards his family. Among those he cares for is his orphaned niece, Seetha. His sons, Peddodu and Chinnodu, exhibit contrasting personalities. There’s a clandestine affection between Seetha and Peddodu, but he maintains a certain distance.
Rich relative Ramachandra Prasad frequently looks down on them and causes disputes. At the same time, Chinnodu and Prasad’s daughter, Geetha, grow fond of each other. A predicament at a temple brings the brothers together, and their father offers guidance to repair relationships. In the end, Peddodu recognizes Seetha’s affection and they get married, while Chinnodu and Geetha make amends.
(Note: “look down on” can also be replaced with “treat with disdain”, “scorn”, or “disregard”.)
In simpler terms, the movie titled SVSC was created by Srikanth Addala, who also wrote the script and Ganesh Patro contributed to the dialogue. The producer of this film is Dil Raju, K. V. Guhan took care of the camera work, Marthand K. Venkatesh edited it, and Mickey J. Meyer composed the songs while Mani Sharma created the background score.
In this movie, Venkatesh is cast as Peddodu and Mahesh Babu as Chinnodu, who are both offspring of Relangi Mavayya, played by Prakash Raj. Anjali plays Seetha, the wife of Peddodu, while Samantha portrays Geetha, the romantic interest of Chinnodu. Jayasudha assumes the role of Saavitri, their mother, and Abhinaya acts as Chinni, with Rao Ramesh depicting Geetha’s father.
