Beyond his successful acting career in Bollywood, Suriya is recognized not only for his performances but also for his charitable work. Consistently, he strives to provide quality education and opportunities to disadvantaged kids, ensuring they get what they truly deserve.
Following this vision, Suriya founded the Agaram Foundation in 2006, a program geared towards offering high-quality education and ensuring fair chances for disadvantaged kids.
The actor has not only gone the extra mile but also set up a fresh workspace for the Agaram Foundation.
In the images circulated on the web, it appears that Suriya joyfully celebrated a special event surrounded by his dear ones. Notable among these were his wife, longtime ally Jyotika, his brother Karthi, and their father.
At the event, both Diya and Dev, the offspring of Suriya and Jyotika, were there as well, flashing their smiles for the photographers.

For several years, the acting talent from Kanguva has consistently demonstrated a strong devotion towards charitable works, and the establishment of the latest branch in Chennai serves as an additional testament to his enduring passion for philanthropy.
Discussing Suriya’s generosity is certainly noteworthy, but it’s also crucial to recognize his status as a highly demanded actor within the industry. However, his latest movie, Kanguva, encountered significant obstacles despite initial high hopes. Released on a broad, nationwide platform, the film failed to leave a lasting impression, as evidenced by its modest box office performance in terms of both critical acclaim and financial success.
Although the delay with Kanguva has occurred, there’s a lot of excitement building around Suriya’s next project, Retro. This film is being marketed as both an action-packed adventure and a gripping drama.
The movie ‘Retro’ features Suriya, Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, and others in prominent roles. Karthik Subbaraj, a well-trusted name in Tamil cinema, is both the writer and director of this production. Stone Bench Creations and 2D Entertainment are the producers. Longtime collaborator Santhosh Narayanan takes care of the music composition, while Shafique Mohammed Ali manages the editing.
Retro is set to release in theatres on May 1st in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
