In a delightful reunion, actors Suriya and Trisha Krishnan are preparing to work together again after two decades, in director RJ Balaji’s upcoming movie. Originally known as Suriya 45, the project has recently been given its official title, which was revealed on the occasion of the filmmaker’s birthday.
Suriya 45 locks title as Karuppu
In conversation with X, Dream Warrior Pictures unveiled the latest poster for their upcoming film, showcasing a tantalizing peek at actor Suriya’s character. He is depicted brandishing a weapon in one hand, standing boldly amidst enigmatic settings.
With the release of the post, the creators officially revealed the film’s title, which is Karuppu.
In a mix of pride and excitement, we are announcing the title for Suriya’s 45th film: ‘KARUPPU’. This name encapsulates the heart, spirit, and purpose of our tale. #KaruppuWishing a very Happy Birthday to our director @RJ_Balaji.

In recent times, the actor’s latest film, titled “Retro,” didn’t manage to leave an impression at the cinemas. Interestingly, his previous production, “Kanguva,” experienced a similar lack of success.
