Today, in celebration of Suriya’s 49th birthday, the filmmakers released a unique teaser featuring the actor in a menacing gangster role.

A clip was released by the creators of Suriya 44, opening with the caption “somewhere at sea,” accompanied by visuals of thugs on both sides of a sign labeled “Royal Estate.” The text continued, “A love, a laugh, a battle… is ready for… him,” as Suriya’s shadow emerged in the background.
Later on, Suriya emerges before the camera screen, his face marked with blood, and holding a weapon. The film concludes with a happy birthday message displayed, featuring Suriya grinning while puffing on a cigarette.
