Cinemark recently revealed a fresh batch of Superman memorabilia, showcasing both the iconic superhero and his lovable companion Krypto. These latest additions merely expand the existing lineup of Superman’s popular collectible popcorn containers.
As a gamer, I’ve been noticing Warner Bros. really stepping up their game when it comes to marketing, revealing some of the most adorable and totally awesome collectibles that range from mini-figures, apparel, popcorn buckets, and much more. Lately, Cinemark has been hinting at new collections, and it’s Krypto who seems to be stealing the show this time around.
What do the new Superman popcorn buckets look like?
In this new collection, the “less-than-perfectly-perfect” canine character takes center stage as the spokesdog. A bucket modeled after him is included, where he’s depicted holding a bag of popcorn with the famous Superman insignia. Furthermore, there’s a dog bowl bucket for pet parents, standard buckets showcasing Krypto and Superman, both regular and kryptonite-themed drinking cups, as well as plush toys of Krypto and Superman themselves.

In the version of Superman created by James Gunn, David Corenswet assumes the role of our hero in the title. Accompanying him are Rachel Brosnahan playing Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult stepping into Lex Luthor’s shoes, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan portraying Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion taking on Guy Gardner, and Isabela Merced donning the character of Hawkgirl.
The remaining actors are Beck Bennett playing Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover portraying Cat Grant, Skyler Gisondo taking on Jimmy Olsen, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent, Neva Howell as Martha Kent, Christopher McDonald in the role of Ron Troupe, Sara Sampaio for Eve Teschmacher, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Frank Grillo cast as Rick Flag Sr., and María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica/The Engineer.
James Gunn gives a unique twist to the classic superhero character in the revamped DC world, combining grand action, wit, and emotion. This new Superman is motivated by kindness and faith in humanity’s goodness.
Superman will be released in US theaters and IMAX on July 11, 2025.
