James Gunn playfully addressed fans on social media, anticipating their plans to give a massive wave of reviews to the upcoming DCU film, specifically Superman.
What did James Gunn say about fans planning to review bomb Superman?
In the context of discussions on various threads, Gunn was informed about fans intending to deliberately post negative reviews of the film. More specifically, a fan disclosed a screenshot from a subreddit dedicated to the “Snyder Cut,” where one fan suggested that others should intentionally spoil the movie, write unfavorable reviews, and reserve tickets without finalizing the purchase, thus temporarily preventing other fans from purchasing tickets.
Gun appeared unconcerned about the individual fan, making light of the situation by stating that he doubts the fans intending to write unfavorable reviews could significantly impact the film’s success.
Laughingly, Gunn expressed his belief that we’ll make it through. He questioned, however, whether the eight individuals who follow that man will have much influence on the outcome of things.
To clarify, despite some enthusiastic Zack Snyder fans trying to create a discussion, the post they directed towards the subreddit was swiftly removed by the moderators of that particular forum.
