Warner Bros. has unveiled a fresh set of posters for the upcoming DC Studios superhero film starring David Corenswet as Superman/Clark Kent and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. This movie is slated to hit cinemas on July 11, 2025. Despite being the only significant box office contender on its premiere day, it will still be launching in the same month as other high-profile films such as Jurassic World Rebirth, Eddington, I Know What You Did Last Summer, and Fantastic Four: The First Steps.
Using his distinctive approach, James Gunn reinterprets the initial superhero character within a fresh take on the DC universe. He skillfully combines thrilling action, humor, and emotion to create a Superman who is motivated by compassion and his faith in humanity’s inherent goodness.
What DC villains are in the Superman posters?
The latest posters highlight the principal villains from the upcoming film, featuring Nicholas Hoult in the role of Lex Luthor, María Gabriela de Faría as The Engineer, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teshmacher, Anthony Carrigan as Metarmorpho, and Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr. This impressive lineup is joined by Edi Gathegi, Isabela Merced, Skyler Gisondo, Wendell Pierce, Alan Tudyk, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Neva Howell.
James Gunn is responsible for both writing and directing the movie Superman, which features characters from DC that were initially created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. This film kicks off the initial chapter of the DC Universe’s Gods and Monsters series. Nikolas Korda, Chantal Nong Vo, and Lars Winther serve as executive producers for this project. The crew also includes Henry Braham as director of photography, David Fleming as composer, and editors William Hoy and Craig Alpert.
