As a long-time fan of both superhero stories and office comedies, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming game “Dispatch” in 2025! Having spent countless hours in various cubicles and break rooms, I can’t help but feel a deep connection to the protagonist, Robert Robertson aka Mecha Man. The idea of balancing office politics while secretly rebuilding my own mech-suit for revenge is almost too perfect.
According to AdHoc Studio’s announcement, the upcoming superhero workplace comedy game titled “Dispatch” is set to release in 2025. You may find some familiar voices among its cast.
Be the hero – of your workplace
The game is based in contemporary Los Angeles, where the protagonist, Robert Robertson, better known as Mecha Man, finds himself unemployed after his adversary destroyed his mechanical suit. Now, he works at a superhero coordination center, but not as a superhero himself, rather as a dispatcher. Simultaneously, he’s tasked with reforming a band of ex-supervillains, all while managing an office romance and covertly rebuilding his suit in preparation for revenge.
No matter if you’re in the break room of your office or out in the city fighting crime: Every decision you make in the game influences the unfolding narrative.
Deploy your characters according to the strategic layout, ensuring a harmonious blend of risks and benefits. Always remember to keep their capabilities within bounds, so they don’t exceed their limits. As you develop their skills and uncover unique talents for each one, consider their strengths, weaknesses, and peculiarities.
