What happens in the Sirens trailer?
In the trailer for “Sirens,” Fahy’s character goes to see her younger sister, portrayed by Alcock, following their father’s diagnosis with dementia. Upon arrival, she discovers her sister living in a grand mansion that appears to be controlled by a cult led by Moore.
According to the synopsis, Devon Fahy believes her sister Simone Alcock’s connection with their boss, the mysterious socialite Michaela Kell Moore, is unsettling. Michaela’s luxurious lifestyle, which seems akin to an addictive substance, has captivated Simone, and Devon plans an intervention. However, she underestimates the strength of her adversary in Michaela. Spanning over a thrilling weekend at The Kells’ grand beach mansion, Sirens delves into a sharp, humorous, and occasionally dark portrayal of women, power, and class.
In the television series “Sirens,” actors Josh Segarra, Felix Solis, Trevor Salter, Lauren Weedman, Britne Oldford, and Jenn Lyon are among the stars, as reported by Variety. Additionally, Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Dani Gorin are serving as executive producers for LuckyChap in this production. The show is based on a 2011 play titled “Elemeno Pea,” which was written by Metzler.
Metzler shared with Tudum that Michaela and Simone have a close relationship, one that has developed due to their traumatic pasts. This bond often leads them to rely excessively on each other, but at the same time, there’s something essential they both seek from the other. This need evolves throughout the series.
Sirens will be released on Netflix on May 22, 2025.
