In this update, players can enjoy playing as Pac-Man, navigating through the levels of Banana Rumble while gathering pellets, power pellets, and cherries.
This week on social media, Sega unveiled a DLC for Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble to celebrate Pac-Man’s 45th anniversary. Starting today, gamers can purchase this add-on to transform into Pac-Man and alter various game elements within the levels. Regular bananas will now be pellets, clusters of bananas will turn into cherries, and golden bananas will become power pellets. You can get this DLC for $4.99 on the Nintendo eShop.

In June 2024, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble was released, offering another exciting adventure within the series, known for its engaging levels, diverse game modes, and robust local and online multiplayer capabilities. Interestingly, Pac-Man is currently appearing in various gaming collaborations as part of its 45th anniversary celebrations. The Tekken team hinted that Tekken 8 will include a stage themed around Pac-Man this summer.
