As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that the latest addition to Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble has got me all excited! The announcement of Godzilla and Hatsune Miku as premium DLC characters is nothing short of spectacular. I mean, who wouldn’t want to collect trains with a giant monster or dance through levels collecting music notes as a virtual idol?
Sega catered to Super Monkey Ball enthusiasts with the release of Banana Rumble earlier this year, but they’re not finished exploring the latest installment in the series just yet. Upcoming premium DLC is being developed for the game’s major 2.0 update, featuring iconic monster Godzilla and digital singer Hatsune Miku as highlights. Additionally, there are several free extras on the horizon for the next update, including a tough test for those who finished Banana Rumble’s solo campaign.
In a fresh update, Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble is set to introduce Godzilla and Hatsune Miku as its latest downloadable content (DLC) characters. Instead of bananas, Godzilla, known as the King of the Monsters, will gather trains because he doesn’t typically eat fruit. On the other hand, Hatsune Miku, a popular virtual singer, will collect musical notes to express her rhythm. Joining them will be well-known DLC characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Axel from Crazy Taxi. The pricing for these new additions has yet to be disclosed.
As a thrifty gamer like me, there’s something exciting in store even without breaking the bank with the Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble 2.0 update! Get ready to swing into Battle Mode with a brand-new feature, the Super Punchy Brawl, where you can knock opponents out with a colossal boxing glove. And if that’s not enough, a fresh stage is being dropped into the Banana Hunt mode for us all to explore!
1-Player gamers will encounter fresh elements within Adventure Mode. These comprise a Banana Bonus option for Time Attack, a challenging No Miss Challenge that grants only one life to players, a Super Speed option for the daring (or those who enjoy pain), and a first-person perspective called Monkey See. For those who have bravely conquered Adventure Mode and still yearn for more difficulty, they’ll find it in Ultimate EX stages – these are said to be tougher than the already challenging courses we mentioned in our review and on Shack Together.
On Tuesday, November 26th, keep an eye out for the Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble 2.0 update. On that same day, you’ll have the opportunity to buy both Godzilla and Hatsune Miku as additional content.
