Since its debut in 2020, Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest has effectively taken over as the successor to E3. Over time, this summer event has expanded and will undoubtedly be back for its sixth year. The scheduled date for Summer Game Fest 2025 is June 6, 2025.
Geoff Keighley has shared the date for this year’s Summer Game Fest event on platform X. The event will take place at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, California on Friday, June 6th. As of now, Keighley hasn’t disclosed his collaborators, but we can anticipate that the show will feature fresh announcements and updates from numerous studios across the gaming industry.
After the Summer Game Fest showcase, I’ll definitely be getting a chance to check out some of the upcoming games up close! That’s because SGF Play Days is happening next, giving me and other press members an opportunity to really dive into these games in person.
