Apple TV+ has added three new main cast members who will be joining the Season 2 lineup of the “Sugar” series, the neo-noir mystery drama starring Oscar nominee Colin Farrell. This announcement follows nearly a year since the show completed its initial 8-episode season.
“For Season 2, our series offers a fresh, modern perspective on an iconic genre – the private detective story. Previously concluded, Season 1 found our protagonist, Sugar, in Los Angeles resolving a missing person’s case. As he searches for more information about his own missing sister, we’ll rejoin him in LA for another captivating investigation in Season 2.”
Who is joining the Sugar Season 2 cast?
Actor Shea Whigham (Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning), Sasha Calle (The Flash), and Raymond Lee (Quantum Leap) have been selected to take on series regular roles in the second season of Sugar. Whigham’s character is expected to be a government agency employee who assists Farrell’s character with his investigations, while Calle will portray a character working for the title role, details about which are yet to be revealed. Lastly, specifics about Lee’s character on the show remain undisclosed. These newcomers join previously announced cast members Jin Ha, Laura Donnelly, and Tony Dalton.
