Sugar Baby

Mani Ratnam’s movie titled Thug Life is set to hit theaters on June 5. Prior to that, the second song from the film, named Sugar Baby, will be revealed on May 21. Fans are already thrilled by a sneak peek of the song, as it includes Trisha Krishnan dancing to the tune. Yet, some online viewers seem displeased about the choice of the specific title for it.

Some online viewers questioned whether a film by Mani Ratnam could include an item number, while others criticized Trisha for being labeled as a “Sugar Baby” in the song at the age of 42, implying age-shaming.

Additionally, some individuals criticized Kamal Haasan harshly over the selection of a seemingly unsuitable title, and they also mocked him playfully.
