As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that my favorite brand, Stüssy, is kicking off 2025 with a bang! After setting up shop once again at 50 Prince Street in New York City, it’s beginning a new journey. This time around, it rekindled its connection with Denim Tears to unveil a stunning 17-piece collaboration. To top it all off, there’s a buzz going around thanks to Brendan Dunne from Complex, hinting that Stüssy and Nike might be reuniting later this year to resurrect the iconic Nike Air Baltoro!
Although we haven’t seen a preview yet, the upcoming collaboration between Stüssy and Nike Air Baltoro might hint at something exciting. Interestingly, a sneaker similar to it has been added to Fortnite’s Kicks section of the item shop in a vintage color scheme of purple, teal, gold, and pink. This combination was also seen in the mid-2000s when the Air Baltoro was last available for purchase. Originally launched in the early ’90s as part of Nike’s ACG line, the boot is rumored to release in several Stüssy-inspired styles before becoming a permanent option again.
Currently, neither Stüssy nor Nike have officially announced that they are working on a project involving the Air Baltoro. Keep an eye out for further information, such as potential color schemes, since it’s rumored to be released this fall through Nike SNKRS and selected stores.
