Street Fighter 6 offers a first look at Fatal Fury's Terry Bogard at EVO 2024

As a longtime Street Fighter fan and someone who grew up with the Fatal Fury series, I couldn’t contain my excitement when Capcom announced Terry Bogard as the second character in Street Fighter 6‘s Year 2 DLC lineup. His inclusion feels like a homecoming for me, reminding me of the countless hours spent playing Fatal Fury on the arcade and later on my Sega Genesis.

Before the Top 6 finale of EVO 2024 began, Capcom treated fans to a sneak peek. At Summer Game Fest, Capcom had astonished Street Fighter enthusiasts by announcing that Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury would be joining the game’s roster. To give viewers an initial impression, Capcom unveiled how Terry will appear in Street Fighter 6 during this trailer.

In a one-minute preview, fans get an up-close look at Terry Bogard being brought to life by Capcom’s RE Engine. He agilely avoids some punches and then delivers his iconic Burn Knuckle attack to defeat his adversary. Not much else can be added except that Terry will officially join Street Fighter 6’s primary modes this autumn.

Two years ago, we reached this point with Terry being announced as the second character from Fatal Fury to be included in Street Fighter 6’s Year 2 DLC series. Another character from Fatal Fury is set to follow Terry, as Mai Shiranui will be added to the roster during next winter.
