Even on its 12th day of release, this horror-comedy sequel raked in an estimated $2 million, according to Sacnilk’s industry tracker. Although it’s showing a slight dip compared to earlier days, it’s still a massive triumph for the film!

These numbers position it as the second highest-grossing movie of 2024, surpassed only by the year’s top box office hits like Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter.

As a gamer, I’d say: In its first seven days, Stree 2 raked in an impressive $34.7 million! The movie started slow but picked up speed as the week progressed. On Friday, it pocketed $2 million, Saturday saw earnings of $3.9 million, and Sunday was even better with a cool $5 million. By the twelfth day, the total net collection reached an astonishing $47.8 million! With an occupation rate of 29.02%, it’s clear that audiences are still flocking to catch this film.

In September, there’s a relatively peaceful stretch at the box office for Stree 2, which could lead to an extended period of success. Later releases like Siddhant Chaturvedi’s Yudhra, Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency, and Kareena Kapoor’s The Buckingham Murders might present some challenges.
