As a seasoned CS:GO enthusiast with a soft spot for loot box openings and rare skins, I can hardly contain my excitement about OhnePixel‘s latest venture into the competitive scene – forming an international CS2 team! With players hailing from various corners of the globe, this squad promises to be as diverse as a UN summit, yet focused like a laser on their goal.
Often recognized for his activities involving unboxing loot crates and exchanging valuable character skins, OhnePixel recently declared the establishment of a fresh, cross-border CS2 squad.
OhnePixel’s New CS2 Team: Players and Ambitions
The squad comprises seasoned athletes hailing from different nations, such as Volodymyr “Woro2k” Veletniuk from Ukraine. He serves as a pivotal figure within the team, acting as an accomplished team strategist, and boasts extensive experience in this role, having previously served as captain for Team Monte.
Among the team members are Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss from France and Morocco, Tal “meztal” Hahiashvili from Israel, Meytar “AMSALEM” Amsalem from Ukraine, and Vladyslav “Kvem” Korol also from Israel. At this point, the team’s official name is still undecided. To determine if the team can sustain itself in the long run, the players were initially brought on as temporary signings.
The Road to Qualification: Major Challenges Ahead
WithoutPixel aspires to compete in the esteemed Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, a tournament boasting a $500,000 prize pot. To reach this goal, they need to first excel in the Middle Eastern qualifying rounds, then navigate through the Asia-Pacific RMR, where the final spots for the main event will be decided.
It’s yet unclear if OhnePixel will assume a hands-on coaching position or mostly function as the team proprietor. Further updates and advancements about the new team should be made public within the upcoming weeks.
